Rihanna’s S&M- Mysteriously Retitled Come On

She’s no stranger to hit songs, but Rihanna's latest single “S&M” received a revised title in the UK, unbeknownst to her. The song debuted at #20 on the UK Top 40 singles chart over the weekend, but appeared under the new name “Come On” despite the fact that she was never approached about the call.

The BBC finally ‘fessed up to the re-branding as well as the vastly-edited version of “S&M” that contained no references to sex, chains, or whips. A spokesperson for the BBC said, "During daytime hours, as younger audiences are listening, we are playing the radio edit, which is called 'Come On.’ However, we will continue to play the original track in specialist shows with an appropriate introduction. ... It is common practice to play radio edits of certain tracks in daytime."
