If the AT&T + T-Mobile acquisition/merger goes through, the FCC and FTC should just close up shop and take whatever money they use to run those government bodies and return them to the tax payers. I mean, seriously, what's the point?

samsung electronics (not the samsung group just electronics) is 2x or 3x times bigger in revenue than apple.
samsung is #2 patents holdings in USA. apple barely broke into top 50 recently.
$$ and patents holdings tell me it won't be so easy for apple.
However, look at the profits and Apple makes around the same or more than the entire Samsung conglomerate with 1/5 the workforce.

Not true.. I am the Art Director for a Art department that makes grocery store ads.
Soda is not a common loss leader since it's DSD Pepsi/Coke keep close price controls.
I usually see produce and meat used as loss leaders..

Another point... I expect that TJ MAXX just bought up a bunch of the Refurbished iPads and is taking a $50 loss on each to get people in the stores.
That's true: soda/chips not loss leaders but maintained by rack jobbers.

I hope other vintage game systems come out for iOS. I'd like to see Coleco make a football game (with the red dots) for iphone. The buttons could go on the screen with room for the field above. The head to head version could be played using two iphones over wifi instead of two people grasping it from opposite sides.

Harmed them financially, not physically. Not death penalty worthy. Again, i support the death penalty only for the most heinous of crimes. It should be used sparingly.

The issue of speculation driving people to starvation by artificially inflating the cost of food (mentioned on another thread) to the point that it is unaffordable is just plain unforgivable. Why should it make a difference whether the act happens by pulling a trigger or by making a boardroom decision? The fact that you killed someone through a deliberate act should not change based on how far removed you were from the victim.

I'm not a big fan of mice with batteries and don't really need the wireless, so I was just wondering if someone would be willing to trade. Mouse is in excellent condition, barely used. First opening of Flipboard after the recent update to the app displays an iOS popup "Warning. Your iPad appears to be jailbroken. This may cause bugs, crashes or other unpredictable behavior."
I just thought that was interesting as I've never seen such a message before or even knew that an app could detect a jailbreak. What's to keep apple from detecting this with one of their apps and voiding my warranty?
