I have the red laser app on my phone for scanning barcodes and it no longer works. I added 3 other scanning apps and they don't work either. Does anyone have a solution? I turned the phone off for a while but that didn't fix the problem.

Weird question, why is F@H showing up as a user level process? I remember it used to show up as a nice process when I ran it last years ago. It's set to idle level in the setup of course and I never noticed till now because it seems to be behaving as a nice process but it's not showing up as one.
I can't remember for sure, but I think there was some debate about this when leopard or snow leopard came out. Either activity monitor or the OS changed how the nice processes are reported.
I'm pretty sure it's normal and folding still gives up processing when required.

Disappointed. Great for Wall Street and Steve's stock, but who's minding the computer side of the house? I think dropping the "Computer" from its name was the single most significant news of the show. What's next a new gaming console?
iPhone - revolutionary in that it raises the bar VERY high for other manufacturers...But it still smells like first generation to me. Behind the arguably flawless design, usability and performance issues are already being raised. Kudos to Steve and his enormously talented staff, but I'll pass on early adoption. But slick..oh so slick..No one is as good as SJ for coordinating such a project. Now let's see how it sells.
appleTV - mediocre offering at best. 40Gb is way too small to host any HD material. It just begs for an upgrade. Why should it be paired to a computer if it has a wireless connection to the internet? My Xbox360 already can and play HD games to boot!
- no news about MacPro (where's the eight core!)
- no news about laptops
- no update to iPod in the near future (iPhone notwithstanding of course, but what if I don't want or need the phone part?)
- Cingular exclusive deal has already alienated non-Cingular customers
- no new displays (HDCP compatibility)
- no "...and one more thing"
A significant watershed show nonetheless. I can understand the need to focus on the iPhone : there's so much to say about it and it would have surely stolen anything else's thunder. Of course not. However, there are certain cases where the death penalty should be applied. The arizona shooter for example who killed a 9 year old girl and many others, he should be fried. It's not like there's any possible chance he could be innocent. While i don't buy the argument that the death penalty costs more than life in prison, even if this argument was factually true, i would still support the death penalty. There's just no reason for some people to be alive after what they've done.

i'm a webdesigner and totally agree with psychometry.
the new textarea feature is the worst way to resolve one of safari worst layout problems. current textarea doesn't show the scrollbars everytime it's necessary and sometimes resizes horizontaly while you're typing, damaging some page layouts.
if the new feature allows users to resize both verticaly and horizontaly it's probably a bad sollution apple found to the scroll problem.
if you don't design pages you may not understand, but sometimes its necessary to fix a size to a textarea and other components (height and width), otherwise it will push other elements and images would look like a puzzle. fixing size is one of the solutions to make pages working in different browsers, once each one show form elements diffrently.
even if the resize feature doesn't push other elements, override them would be terrible as well. if you have links and other text fields for example, how would it behave if you use tab key to swich field in a form?

There is no extra charge it works over the internet so if you have wifi setup in your home your good to go only thing that would have a charge is if you sign up for the expanded fax service
